Doug Talks About: Do Fungi and Yeast Cause Depression?

What does fungus have to do with heart attacks? Earlier this week we showed that antibiotics have good, bad and ugly properties, one of which was inducing cardiovascular medical events. On Wednesdays show, you will receive information on the good, the bad and the ugly effects of antidepressants as we discuss the role of fungus in depression. Seems to me that FUPO (Fungus Until Proven Otherwise) is a perfect acronym for my shows! I’ll cite one 2008 reference that stated that overall, antidepressants were about 7% effective. Of course, just like with antibiotics, doctors and drug companies have found many, many uses for antidepressants, from migraine headaches to insomnia to pain. Oh, sometimes they even work for depression. Do the increased suicide risks of taking antidepressants outweigh the benefit of them? Let’s talk! Do you have an antidepression story? Please join me from 2-3PM Central Time on Wednesday and I’ll teach you to inform your doctor about 3 safe and inexpensive supplements that may help calm your brain. Please tell a friend to join us! - Doug
