Recorded Live: 10/1/1974 - Haight Ashbury Free Clinic - San Francisco, CA

NOTE: Haight Ashbury Free Clinic and Red Cross were often present at events where psychedelics were administered. Toxicology reports from 1969 - 1974 reveal that PCP was sold under the pseudonyms of LSD, THC, chemically treated marijuana e.g. "crystal joints" and cocaine.

PCP was called Fairy Dust and Angel Dust. Fairy Dust was mentioned at the Manson Family trails, August 13th, 1970. Fairy Dust (Angel Dust) is also mentioned in Pricipia Discordia ca. 1963.

Freakouts occurring in the mid 60's, attributed to tainted acid, were possibly misdiagnosed because PCP had not been identified in a lab until late 1968. By that time, PCP was available in all forms of powder, crystal, dissolved in ether, soaked mint leaves, and tablets sold as peace pills and horse tranquilizer.

The original name, Fairy Dust (1963), shows that it was already a known psychedelic among Disordian Bohemians, before the Merry Pranksters initiated the Electric Kool Aid Bus tours in 1964.
Phencyclidine 1-(1-phenylcyclohexyl)piperidine) is a pseudonym for Sernyl.
