Ducks Deluxe are an English pub rock band of the 1970s, who continue to tour and record new material. Usually called "The Ducks" by their fans, they were known for up-tempo, energetic performances, and the successful careers of their members after they disbanded. They reformed again in 2007, but heir earlier material from 1972-75 was more popular. They have a huge following in US. Other pub rock acts of that genre included The Stranglers, Dr Feelgood and Ian Dury & The Blockheads...
When kids were listening to The Bay City Rollers and The Jackson 5, their parents were probably listening to Ducks DeLuxe and the Rolling Stones.
