Why Pfizer ended testing on once-daily weight-loss pill treatment

Pfizer announced it is ending its development of a once-daily weight-loss pill treatment for obesity. It comes after a participant in one of the trials experienced a possible drug-induced liver injury and recovered after the medication was stopped.
