ESCAPING New Mambasa in Halo 3: ODST!

With New Mombasa in ruins and overrun by Covenant forces, Buck regroups with the squad and leads an ambitious plan to escape the city—by hijacking a Covenant Phantom dropship. It’s a desperate gamble, but their only hope of getting out alive.

The team launches a high-stakes assault on a Covenant encampment, seizing control of the Phantom and immediately turning it around to blast their way out. What follows is an intense escort mission across the burning skyline, defending the stolen ship from Banshee squadrons and anti-air emplacements while navigating collapsing buildings and Covenant ambushes.

As the team finally punches through the blockade and reaches the city’s edge, Buck starts putting the pieces together. The ONI agent Dare has been missing since the drop—but her actions, and the covert nature of her mission, begin to make sense.

Realizing she may still be alive—and holding the key to something far bigger than a simple recon op—Buck turns the Phantom around. The squad isn’t done yet. It’s time to head back into the fire to find Dare… and the truth she’s been hiding.
