Time tested cook system aka Storm Cooker used by the Swedish Army. Includes Spirit Burner aka Alcohol Burner that is smokeless, silent, and nearly invisible flame. Simmering ring allows flame reduction to simmer. Uses Denatured Alcohol aka Methylated Spirits in Europe.

Also includes upper and lower windshield with 2 sauce pans, frying pan, and handle. Indoor use requires ventilation. Could be considered one of the most practical cook systems for the indoor or outdoor prepper.

Model 25: For 3 to 4 people
Model 27: For 1 to 2 people
Boil Time: About 10 minutes 1 liter water
Burn Time: 25 minutes 3.3 ounces fuel

Trangia Real World Stove Test

Equipment: Trangia Storm Cooker Model 35.5 Black, Trangia Alcohol Burner, Trangia Pan Stand, Trangia Fuel Bottle, Cuisinart Saucepan 1.5 Quart Stainless Steel with Lid, Scissor Handle Tongs.

Conditions: Sea Level, 78 degrees fahrenheit. Your results may vary based on elevation, air and water temperature.

Boil Test
Water: 2 Cups Cold
Fuel: Denatured Alcohol 3 Ounces
Boil Time: 9 Minutes to Rolling Boil
Remaining Fuel: 2 Ounces

Cook Test
Water: 2/3 Cup Cold
Food: Quinoa 1/3 Cup
Fuel: Denatured Alcohol 3 Ounces
Boil Time: 3 Minutes
Cook Time Simmer: 20 Minutes
Simmer Ring: 1/4 Open
Remaining Fuel: 2.5 Ounces

Note: Tongs required to remove and replace Pan Stand in order to place simmer ring on top of burner, and extinguish flame with lid when done. For safety, use in a well ventilated area, and never put alcohol in a hot burner.
