The Sentences of Sextus + The Gospel of Mary Magdalene -Gnostic Treasures Explored Series-

In this video, I give you a little modern version of an electronic Gnosis spiritual service - at least while you are listening, "two or more are gathered in the name Christ." After a little related anecdotal story, I read two lesser-known gems from the Nag Hammadi library.

The first is not sourced from Christianity, but it was included in the library as the Gnostics, being openminded, had collected wisdom from many sources, and this person had some great, often stoic one-liners or even sacred memes.
The second book fragment is well-loved for its potent heart-based knowledge as well as for revealing who the great teacher's #1 disciple was!

Note: in my translation, I substituted the term "Creator" for "God," sadly, not every time, but for obvious reasons I didn't want to use that word. As this was written in the height of patriarchy, some of the statements of Sextus smell of dogma or contradictions, even if he wasn't a Christian, but, still, I found it to be packed with great statements of pure, timeless truths, mostly.
