The Apostle Philip had been with Jesus for years, but he still failed to Know Jesus as he ought to have known Him. How easy it is for us to substitute other things for an intimate relationship with Christ. The Biblical word to KNOW Him is the same word describing the marriage union of husband and wife, as in when "Adam KNEW Eve." When we are born again, we meet Jesus. But daily encountering Christ – through His Word, His Spirit, in Christian Fellowship – must become more than an Event in our past. It must become a constant Condition in our lives . .
