Egypt: Massive Fire Destroys the Entire District of Cairo

In an incident that caused great concern among Egyptian citizens, a massive fire broke out in Al-Sharabia neighborhood of Cairo in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The responsible authorities are investigating the cause.

The cause of the drink fire

In a preliminary examination, the investigation authorities revealed The cause of the fire that broke out was the result of a gas leak from the "Potagas" package, as this package exploded in one of the shops selling "Robapikia", and the flames extended to the neighboring shops and stores.

Immediately, ambulances and firefighters moved to the scene of the fire, to reveal the possibility of loss of life, and the process of extinguishing the fire was completely completed. After inspection, the material losses as a result of this fire were estimated in millions of Egyptian pounds, due to the presence of huge quantities of wood, equipment and wood waste inside the shops.

It is worth noting that the Al-Sharabia neighborhood, where the wood shops are located, had issued a decision to remove the "Rubikia" from it, due to the seriousness of storing the latter in the vicinity of the residential square, which was not implemented.
