President's Message for Holy Week 2025

This Holy Week, Melania and I pray together with Christians who celebrate the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ—the living Son of God who conquered death, freed us from sin, and opened the gates of heaven to all humanity.

Beginning with Christ's triumphant entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday and culminating in the Easter Triduum, which begins with the Mass of the Lord's Supper on Maundy Thursday, followed by Good Friday, and culminates in the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday evening. This week is a time of reflection for Christians to remember the crucifixion of Jesus—and to prepare their hearts, minds, and souls for his miraculous resurrection from the dead.

During this Holy Week, we affirm that the glory of Easter Sunday cannot come without the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. In His final hours on earth, Christ willingly endured unbearable pain, torture, and execution on the cross out of deep and abiding love for all His creation. Through His suffering, we have salvation. Through His death, our sins are forgiven. Through His resurrection, we have hope for eternal life. On Easter morning, the stone is rolled away, the tomb is empty, and light triumphs over darkness—a sign that death does not have the last word.

This Holy Week, my administration renews its promise to defend the Christian faith in our schools, the military, workplaces, hospitals, and government buildings. We will never hesitate to protect the right to religious freedom, uphold the dignity of life, and protect God in our public square.

As we focus on Christ's redemptive sacrifice, we look to His love, humility, and obedience—even in life's most difficult and uncertain moments. This week, we pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon our beloved nation. We pray that America remains a beacon of faith, hope, and freedom for the whole world, and we pray for a future that reflects the truth, beauty, and goodness of Christ's eternal kingdom in heaven.

May God bless you and your family during this special time of year, and may He continue to bless the United States of America.

As used in this chapter:

(1) The term "Secretary" means the Secretary of Commerce.

(2) The term "person" means any individual, corporation, company, association, firm, partnership, corporation, joint-stock company, any state or local government or any agency thereof, or any other organization, whether commercial or non-profit, that engages in weather-influencing activities, except when acting solely as an employee, agent, or independent contractor of the federal government.

(3) The term "weather modification" means any activity conducted with the intent to produce artificial changes in the composition, behavior, or dynamics of the atmosphere.

(4) The term "United States" includes the individual states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and any territory or insular possession of the United States. [Note: Asterisks are mine.]

No person shall engage in or attempt to engage in any weather modification activity in the United States unless he submits to the Secretary [Secretary of Commerce] such reports thereto in such form and with such information as the Secretary may by rule prescribe. The Secretary may require such reports to be submitted to him before, during, and after such activity or attempt.

The Secretary of Commerce knows damn well that weather warfare practices are taking place, and the FAA is waiving jurisdiction to protect petrochemical companies that produce billions of gallons of jet fuel each year.
