My Great Grandfather, the Nigerian Slave Trader -A Reply (1)
‌
In this video, we are issuing a response to an article by one Adaobi Tricia Nwaubani claiming that her Great Grand Father was a slave trade who sold people across the Atlantic. This article can be found at https://www.newyorker.com/culture/personal-history/my-great-grandfather-the-nigerian-slave-trader

In this video, we at the Renaissance tried to show that the article was a mere chronicle of lies and with the slave master hiding behind this Adaobi Tricia Nwaubani to propagate lies against the slave masters slave hunting atrocities of the past.

In a nutshell, the Author was born in 1976 when her father was aged 31. Her own father was born in 1940 and her great grandfather would be born at a time the slave trade was almost ending.

Please watch the video and remember to leave comments especially where you disagree. We welcome criticisms.
