BALLASY: “Are you surprised we don’t know more about Crooks and the assassination attempt against Trump?”
STONE: “I — I’m surprised we don’t, yeah. I don’t know much about him. I mean, we’ve not done their homework. They’re not reporting it. I — I would like to know more. Certainly the parents and the history.”
BALLASY: “And do you think President Trump wanted to take on the FBI, the CIA, the intelligence agencies is a good move after what happened with him with the Russia probe and all that?”
STONE: “Yeah, it looks like, Russiagate, he paid for it. Russiagate — he’s got — he’s — I — I applaud that. And I hate what they did with Russiagate. I really do. I think it’s, again, the lying, the lying, the lying, and selling that to the American people. And the whole thing of hating Russia is so negative, so UN-American. They are — they are potentially our best partners, as are the Chinese, actually. But we have this mentality that they’re the enemy. And that’s all been inculcated by propaganda. If you go out there and you go out to China and you go out to Russia, you don’t hear that kind of vituperative dialogue.”
BALLASY: “Do you think Trump is right when he says there’s weaponization against —”
STONE: “Absolutely.”
BALLASY: “— conservatives specifically?”
STONE: “There was. There — you know, now I don’t like what’s — I don’t like this new thing about censorship coming from Trump. I — I don’t agree with that.”
BALLASY: “Which — which part? Censorship from Trump?”
STONE: “From him against the anti — what he calls anti-Semitic news. I mean, it’s — I don’t agree. I don’t — I don’t know where he’s coming from. And it’s not what he promised. Look at my Facebook this morning, you’ll find it.”
