Tucker Carlson: "We recorded the interview you’re about to see five days ago, and I’ve been thinking about it ever since. It’s with a former congressman from Pennsylvania named Kurt Weldon. Kurt Weldon was a very important figure in Washington 20 years ago. He wasn’t some unknown lawmaker — he was one of the most powerful Republicans in Congress, on track to become Chairman of the Armed Services Committee, until he started asking questions about the official 9/11 narrative. At that point, the Bush administration sent the FBI to his daughter’s house, destroyed her life, and never charged her with any crime. And they succeeded in removing Kurt Weldon from Congress.

I hadn’t spoken to him in 20 years. I didn’t know exactly what to expect. But this conversation — the one you’re about to see — raises far more questions than I ever imagined. He’s not a crazy person. These are not crazy questions. He doesn’t make claims without personal or firsthand evidence. When it ended, I asked him how many other officials who were in Washington during 9/11 have similar questions. And he told me that, as far as he knows, all of them do. And he’s still in touch with many of those people.

After this conversation — which again, we’ve been thinking about ever since — I thought maybe it’s time to take a deeper look at the 9/11 Commission Report. Was it accurate? 9/11 changed America forever. Those of us who remember it, who lived through it, can tell you this was a different country afterward — completely different, and not a better one. So there’s no more significant historical event in the life of any living American than 9/11. And the fact that there are still unanswered questions about what exactly happened and why is deeply concerning.

Until now, most of the people who’ve raised these questions have been crazy — or they’ve seemed a little crazy. Now is the time for a sober look — not a wild or speculative one — but an honest look, and honest conversations with people who were involved in the response that day, government officials. So we’re going to do that. We’re currently planning a multi-part documentary series on 9/11, and we hope to bring it to you as soon as we can."
