Chrystal Peters - Arrested and Charged for Protesting a Drag Story Hour

Chrystal Peters, a mother of 3 and a patriotic Canadian, was arrested and charged after protesting a Drag Queen story time at a Church in Gravenhurst, ON. Initially charged with only disturbing the peace, she says about 8-9 months later, she was charged with a second charge - incitement of hatred - for the same protest.

Her trial recently concluded a few weeks ago and she was found guilty of disturbing the peace, and not-guilty of incitement of hatred.

The Crown has decided to appeal the not-guilty verdict, and Chrystal will be in court again soon to fight this appeal.

Her sentencing comes at the end of this month on April 30th.
