'David Lynch Portrait' Original Art Painting Timelapse 4-14-25

Hey everyone, I am excited to share this portrait of the great David Lynch, which I created earlier this year live on Rumble. I had a wonderful time painting this painting. I tried to add a lot of impasto to the painting because David Lynch, who was also a magnificent painter and not just a director, used a lot of impasto in his paintings. So I tried to take a page out of his book. Using more mediums and materials to add impasto and other sorts of mixed media techniques is something I want to continue to explore. It was really satisfying to experiment in this way. RIP to the great David Lynch. He is such an influence on me. Not just his movies, but just his general outlook on art and creativity. I highly recommend listening to some of his interviews and documentaries, and also watching his fabulous movies. He will be missed.
