Cody Balmer has been charged with attempted m*rder after setting Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro's house on fire as he and his family slept.

Balmer allegedly admitted to state troopers that he intended to beat the governor with his hammer.

Balmer shared a variety of posts online, as reported by the New York Post, including "left-wing anti-capitalist posts" on Facebook.

He attacked both President Trump and President Biden on his social media accounts and supported Kanye West for president.
