Why I Disappeared: Grief, New Life, and My Intention Moving Forward

This is the most personal episode I’ve ever shared. After the passing of my dad and the birth of my daughter, I found myself in the middle of life’s most beautiful and painful moments. In this video, I talk about the tension between grief and joy, and why it’s okay to feel both.

Over the past year, I faced significant personal challenges including the loss of my father and welcoming a new baby into our family. I talk openly about my grief, the complexity of emotions, and the need for personal growth.

Balancing accountability, family responsibilities, and creative pursuits has been tough, but I'm back with renewed energy and a commitment to build a supportive community.

Thank you for your understanding and support as I share this personal journey. I hope you this video helps you in your life in some way.

"Hi Struggling, I'm Dad!" is a podcast dedicated to helping people be the best parents, partners and people they can possibly be.
I'm Grant Berardi, a father of 5 kids, a husband of 15 years, a qualified counsellor and coach with over a decade of experience.

This podcast was made due to my passion for helping others reach their fullest potential in as many aspects of their life as possible.

This podcast embodies this passion but also sees the funny side even in the difficult moments. Integrity, character, ownership, leadership and relationship are key themes throughout.
I've made these outlets because I've struggled with fear of failure, anxiety and self-doubt, and would have loved to have had help from someone along the way. I want to be that help for others.

All the best,

-Grant Berardi
