The life and death of Rudolf Hess • In this superb video (one hour 51 minutes), David Irving, the brilliant English writer, author of many best sellers, talks about the life of Rudolf Hess (1894 – 1987). David talks about Hess's life in candid detail. He explains the superb planning of his desperate flight to Scotland in 1941, where he tried to negotiate peace with Churchill's regime. Taken prisoner, he was held at various places until the end of the war. He was put on trial at the infamous "Nuremberg" kangaroo court, and incredibly given a life sentence for "crimes against peace" by the "judges". He was still serving this sentence when he was found dead in August 1987 at the age of 93, after being in prison for 46 years. His death was supposedly "suicide," although it was unusual how an old man of 93 managed to strangle himself with an electric cable. It was also unusual how the rope marks were level across his neck and not sloped as usual in hangings. His son, Wolf Hess, repeatedly claimed that the Secret Intelligence Service (NOTE: The SIS was a part of the British Secret Service) had murdered his father. His medical orderly at the time, Abdallah Melaouhi, who had been in that position for five years and knew Hess well, also thought that Hess was murdered. Abdallah was promptly sacked when he wrote a book stating the facts. In 2017, the papers of the SIS were partially released, and they show that the SIS had launched a campaign of terrorism against Germany and Italy SIX months before September 1939. The SIS had trained Poles in terrorism, assassination, and cross-border raids. This campaign had been authorised by Neville Chamberlain. As soon as Rudolf was found dead, the prison was immediately demolished. Rudolf's body was buried at a secret location, but eventually his body was released to his family, and he was interred at the Hess family plot at Wunsiedel. His wife, Ilse (1900 – 1995), was buried alongside him. Hess's grave was constantly decorated with flowers, and each August, increasing numbers of Germans paid homage. In 2011, the puppet government in Germany managed to destroy the grave of Rudolf and Ilse, and the remains were cremated. The ashes were scattered at sea. The gravestone was destroyed. Rudolf Walter Richard Hess (born April 26, 1894, Alexandria, Egypt; murdered Aug. 17, 1987) was Adolf Hitler's deputy until he was taken captive by the British in 1941 when trying to end the war. He spent the rest of his life in Allied captivity in Berlin-Spandau as a prisoner of peace, and was ultimately murdered by the British when Mikhail Gorbachev lobbied to release him.

David John Cawdell Irving was born on March 24, 1938, in Essex, England, the son of a Royal Navy Commander. After education at London University, he spent a year working in a steel mill in Germany, where he perfected his fluency in the language. His first book, the best-selling The Destruction of Dresden, was published in 1963, when he was 25 years old. This was followed by many others. His books have appeared in a range of languages. Several have been serialized in prominent periodicals. He has contributed articles to some 60 British and foreign periodicals, including the Daily Telegraph and the Sunday Express in Britain, and Stern and Der Spiegel in Germany.
