🇨🇳 Update: Extreme Weather Continues to Batter Northern China — Windstorms, Sandstorms, Snow, and Flight Cancellations

🌀 Since April 11, a powerful cold front has triggered severe weather across northern and northwestern China, with hazardous conditions continuing on April 12.

🔹 In Bayannur, Inner Mongolia, gale-force winds toppled roadside barriers.
🔹 Sandstorms swept through Ningxia and Gansu, reducing visibility to less than 50 meters in some areas.
🔹 In Qinghai Province, snowfall was recorded overnight, with Yushu County receiving 20.7 mm of precipitation.
🔹 In Beijing, strong winds uprooted over 200 trees, damaging vehicles and power lines. Social media has been flooded with images of fallen trees, toppled motorcycles, and shattered windows.
🔹 In Henan Province, winds reached a record force of 15 on the Beaufort scale.

🔴 Hundreds of flights have been canceled in Beijing and Tianjin. Authorities are urging residents to stay indoors.
