Episode 715: Revelation 13 Who is the False Prophet? Part 3

Hello everyone. In tonight's Bible study we now transition from the Antichrist and The Falling Away to the False Prophet.

The Lord gave Daniel a vision concerning His people Israel and their restoration to Himself.

God told Daniel that it will 70 weeks of years or 490 years to make a complete atonement for the sins of Israel.

Of the 70 weeks of years, 69 weeks of years has already come to past, leaving only 1 week of 7 years remaining to punish Israel for her sins and restore her place as God's chosen people.

During this 7-year period called the Tribulation, there will be two central characters according to the Lord Jesus. One will be the Antichrist whom we have discussed. The other will be this mysterious false prophet who comes onto the pages of scriptures seemly out of nowhere.

No where else is this person written about unless one make an analogy to God's plan to have a prophet to come prior to His arrival to prepare the hearts of the people to meet their God.

Likewise the devil steals God's plan by bringing a false prophet before his false christ to prepare the world's people for their false god.

Who is this mysterious prophet? Where does he come from? What is his purpose?

Let's look into the word of God to discover what the scriptures tell us about this man.
