Boots Ennis Destroys Stanionis: Is Brian Norman Jr Next or Vergil Ortiz?

Jaron Boots Ennis defeated Eimantas Stanionis, forcing him to quit on the stool in Atlantic City this past Saturday Night. To be honest, Boots made it look fairly easy. I never understood the hype around Stanionis.

He had no business in the ring with Boots. Stanionis is now 15-1 and has to build his confidence after being beaten into submission. Now, in comes Brian Norman Jr.

There's been much talk about a potential fight between Boots and B Norman Jr. In a post-fight press conference, Bozy Ennis said the Normans are using Boots' name to build their profile.

Something that others have accused the Ennis family of doing for years. Boots said Norman isn't a good fighter and doesn't want to fight. I can go on and on about who said what.

But the bottom line is this: The Brian Norman Jr. vs. Boots Ennis fight needs to happen sooner rather than later. Brian Norman Jr. looked good in his fight against Cuevas.

And Jaron Boots Ennis looked good in his fight against Stanionis. Eddie Hearn said he's spoken to Bon Arum, and that's the fight he wants to make next.

If this is the case, then this fight should be next. Brian Norman Sr. will be on the show today to answer questions about Boots and Norman Jr.'s potential matchup.
