UMP Modifieds at Grant Park

A National career race at Grant Park Speedway on Expert difficulty. The track surface is mostly smooth. Bumps can be found on the bottom groove and also a couple on the very top. There is plenty of maneuverability to navigate through traffic on this wide surface. A highly momentum track, so driving smoothly is a must. After Qualifying traction drastically drops on the lower 3/4 of the track. Come feature time there is a little bit of grip left on the bottom, then just above the slick on the topside has a good amount of traction.

2 caution this race. Early in the race Zeke McKenzie got into Drake Troutman, with Troutman spinning to a stop. Around the midpoint of the race I got into Ken Schrader and Michael Long while attempting to split between them. Then a couple laps later I attempted to pull a slider on Jimmy Owens, but didn't have enough to clear him. Then with 6 laps remaining, after I passed Hoffman, he decided to turn down while I was already there. Just after that Ken Schrader gets into John Xander, with Xander coming to a stop. Overall though the race was pretty clean.
