Palm Sunday 2025 Selected Scriptures

Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem is known as Palm Sunday. On this day nearly two thousand years ago, thousands of people acknowledge Jesus as the true Messiah. With proclamations of "Hosanna" and "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord," there was no mistaking that they recognized the coming of the Christ. However, not everyone was as accepting of Jesus. The religious leaders demanded He tell those gathered to be quiet. But Jesus' response to this was that if these people were silent, the stones would cry out testifying that He was the true Messiah. Jesus knew He would be soon be delivered over to wicked men to be crucified. What prepared Him for this event was His humble submission to the Father. It is this humility that we will take a look at in our study today.
