Part 6 of Phantom Liberty

Returning to Night City as cyber-enhanced mercenary V, you'll embark on a high-stakes mission of espionage as you attempt to save Myers -- former CEO of Militech and current NUS President -- who has crash-landed in the dangerous district of Dogtown while traveling on the Space Force One. Ruled by a trigger-happy militia, Dogtown will test your limits as you'll be forced to forge alliances within a web of shattered loyalties and sinister political machinations.

In this playthrough we cover:

Side Job: The Gun: After completing the prologue and gaining access to your apartment in Megabuilding H10, V receives a message from Wilson, the weapons vendor at the 2nd Amendment shop. Visiting his store, V is offered a free iconic pistol named Dying Night. Acquiring this weapon completes the side job.

Side Job: Sacrum Profanum (Losing My Religion): In Northside, V encounters a monk named Bhikkhu who has been forcibly cyberized by the Maelstrom gang. He pleads for V to rescue his brother from the same fate, requesting a non-lethal approach. V infiltrates the Maelstrom hideout, using stealth but also lethal takedowns to subdue the gang members. Successfully rescuing the brother so he's pissed but happy he is saved.

Run This Town: Following Kurt Hansen's death, V is tasked with influencing Dogtown's future leadership where Mr. Hand's wants Lieutenant Colonel Bennett, as the pick for Hansen's replacement, not Jago Szabó is the chief accountant of BARGHEST. Hands wants V to impersonate Aguilar, a Cuban merc and Hansen's personal assassin and intimiadte Jago. V proceeds to where Jago is scheduled to meet with the Voodoo Boys. After dealing with the Voodoo Boys, V waits for Jago's arrival and confronts Jago about his ambitions. Jago reveals that Bennett is an Arasaka puppet, aiming to control Dogtown through him. V then arranges a meeting with Bennett before Hansen's wake. During this encounter, V chooses to collaborate with Bennett, influencing his perception of V. At Hansen's wake, held at the Black Sapphire, V (still impersonating Aguilar) attends the gathering. Jago and Bennett are present, and tensions escalate as they vie for control. A confrontation ensues where Bennett kills Jago, solidifying his position as Dogtown's new leader. Mr. Hands expresses satisfaction with the outcome, having successfully installed Bennett as Dogtown's leader.

Side Job: Dazed and Confused: Mr. Hands contacts V about Lina Malina, a BD celebrity allegedly kidnapped. Investigating leads V to the Brainporium, where it's revealed that Lina is free but reluctant to participate in a new BD. V locates her residence, negotiates her involvement for a fee, and informs Shank of her agreement, concluding the mission.

Gig: The Man Who Killed Jason Foreman: Mr. Hands assigns V to eliminate a former Militech operative, Leon Rinder, responsible for Jason Foreman's death. V infiltrates the target's location, overcomes security measures, and neutralizes the operative. Completing the gig enhances V's reputation and standing with Mr. Hands.

Gig: Heaviest of Hearts: Post-"Firestarter," Mr. Hands calls V to find Michael Maldonado where he wants you to locate District Attorney Georgina Zembinsky. The mission leads V to the Heavy Hearts Club, where discretion is advised. By not-so stealthily navigating the club and accessing restricted areas, V confronts Zembinsky, leading to a resolution that aligns with Maldonado's interests.

Through Pain to Heaven: After handing Songbird over to Reed, V meets with him to discuss the implications. Reed reveals that Songbird is being transported to Langley for further examination. The conversation underscores the complexities of V's choices and their impact on the broader narrative.
