Vermont Stands Up Mask-Free School Attendance

March, 2025: A conversation to introduce viewers to the legal issues surrounding the imposition of mask requirements and proposed legislation to protect students and staff it in educational settings.

House Bill 393 - PROHIBITION ON REQUIRING FACE MASKS FOR IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE:

"No public school, independent school, postsecondary school, tutorial program, or approved education program may require or mandate any student, employee, or member of the public to wear a face mask or covering with the intent to prevent or minimize the spread of any pathogen as a condition for in-person attendance."
