Keeping Priorities Right in Christianity

As Christians, our greatest priority is to point people to Jesus. While meeting temporary needs—like food, shelter, or help in crisis—is important, it is not the ultimate goal. These needs are short-term, but the need for salvation is eternal.

Jesus healed and fed many, but always with the purpose of leading them to Himself—the true Bread of Life. Likewise, our compassion should never replace our mission. What good is it to ease someone’s pain today if they remain lost forever?
