Aerial Footage Frank J. Wood Bridge Replacement Project in Brunswick-Topsham Maine Feb 2025 UPDATE

If you didn't know, the Frank J. Wood Bridge that connects Brunswick and Topsham is being replaced. The Maine Department of Transportation lowered the weight limit on the bridge in October 2021 to 10 tons over concerns of safety. This has placed a severe limitation on commercial traffic across the bridge.

No need to worry, a new bridge is being built!

The new bridge is being built by Reed & Reed Inc. of Woolwich and according to thier website, they hope to have the new bridge open by October 2025.
