This Antique & Vintage Shopper's Paradise Was Worth a Second Visit!

This place was so large, we had to return! Two antique and vintage malls sit side-by-side in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, but we quickly discover that Antique Center II stands out from its neighbor, featuring a wider variety of 20th-century items, loads of paper ephemera and advertising, a hall filled with Victorian clocks and furniture, and plenty of stunning pottery… let’s take a look!

Right from the start, a cheerful Santa cutout, framed vintage fishing lures, and charming shadowboxes with 1950s beauty shop accessories let us know this place is going to be a lot of fun! We dig through piles of vintage paper, snag a great deal on Buddy L toys in their original packaging, and spot more vintage Coca-Cola memorabilia than we’ve seen in a while.

But there’s much more to discover as we stumble upon a cabinet full of pottery and porcelain treasures, from hand-painted Camark iris ware to Old Paris vases and studio ceramics by local artists! A misidentified Seminole doll ends up in our pile at the counter, and we find incredible examples of 1930s Waterfall furniture, a clever hideaway cabinet from the 1890s, and a collection of early 1920s radios with separate speakers. Candlestick phones, old cylinder disk players, and other impressive collectibles with major wow factor are waiting to be explored, and we’ve only scratched the surface!

Prices are better here than at Antique Center I, so we keep picking up treasures as we pass showcases filled with 19th-century majolica, costume jewelry, and a dazzling sterling silver flatware set. We’re introduced to a cool MCM Nicodemus Pottery planter, admire a beautiful Dresden parlor lamp, and even learn how to cure the horrors of LeGrippe, a disease we didn’t even know existed!

This mall turns out to be even more enjoyable than the first, proving that revisiting places we’ve missed can lead to exciting finds for reselling—and a fantastic time experiencing something new.
