Even though it should not be claimed that Skull and Bones “runs things” or that “it’s the power elite” per se, since it wouldn’t be true, it does include, and has always included, many members who are indeed power elite, and who associate and coordinate through the old boys’ ties, connections and networks established through the order. It works like any other “old boys’ exclusive society” in this respect.“
