Bengaluru: 4 Arrested for Moral Policing a Muslim Woman Talking to Hindu Friend

In a case of moral policing, Bengaluru Police arrested four individuals, including a minor, for confronting and abusing a Muslim woman for chatting with a Hindu youth in the Chandra Layout area. The accused—Mohammad Mohsin, Mohammad Mansoor, Mohammad Afridi Pasha, and Waseem Khan—reportedly questioned the woman, demanded her family’s contact info, and circulated a video of the incident online.

The woman, who was wearing a burqa, stood her ground and refused to share private details. The police acted swiftly after her complaint and arrested the accused.
