[The three little pigs - EP 15] - Our forgotten children and the lack of support for those that care - In this episode we discuss the continued issues within residential care and the children within Kinship and foster care, the lack of support provided by private organisations within this space and also government departments who drive this process. We also discuss the idea of federal oversight ensuring a process that allows for concerns and complaints to be voiced to an independent body that can act as opposed to the current self regulated system. There are far to many failings within the current SA and apparently around the country to not take action as these children are the future and need to be protected and nurtured to ensure the best possible outcome, this is not only in the best interests of the children but all involved.
