Rep Lawler Torches Dems Absurd Illegal Alien Voting Ploy

"Considering my wife was an immigrant who became a citizen and figured out how to register to vote I think will be fine no matter how ridiculous the Democrats look, I will give them this any stick to their talking points. It is absolutely absurd. In New York, you know, Democrats tried to pass legislation to allow non-citizens to vote in local elections in New York City. Republicans sued and we won. Even the far left New York State court of appeals ruled that it was unconstitutional. So, the save act is very simple. We’re simply saying that you have to have proof of citizenship to register to vote. And there are multiple documents that can be provided and we allow for every elections commission, board of elections in each state to promulgate the rules and make sure that no one is precluded who is a citizen. It’s not that hard."
