Steve Bannon, former advisor to President Donald J. Trump and one of the most prominent voices in the conservative nationalist movement, has issued a bold warning to the federal government: it is time to take drastic action against the growing threat posed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). In recent statements, Bannon called for the immediate revocation of over 350,000 active student visas held by Chinese nationals, arguing that the era of soft diplomacy is over.

Bannon acknowledged that President Trump greatly values education and the idea of attracting the best and brightest to American universities. However, he emphasized that current realities demand a serious policy shift. “I completely understand Trump’s desire for our universities to shine as global beacons. But times have changed. Communist infiltration is real, and although many Chinese students aren’t personally guilty, they are under obligation to cooperate with their regime’s intelligence apparatus,” he warned.

The former White House chief strategist explained that the Chinese government requires its citizens abroad — including students — to make regular loyalty reports to state security agencies. Bannon described this as “unacceptable on American soil” and a clear threat to national sovereignty and security. “We are allowing potential CCP agents to operate within our educational institutions. This is not paranoia — it’s a documented tactic of the Chinese regime,” he emphasized.

According to Bannon, the solution is straightforward: revoke all student visas for Chinese nationals, put them on planes, and send them back home immediately. While the measure may seem harsh, he said it’s a proportional response to Beijing’s relentless aggression, including academic espionage, intellectual property theft, and ideological manipulation on U.S. campuses.

“350,000 students? Do we really need all of them? Can’t we fill those slots with patriotic, prepared American students in need of quality education? Of course, we can,” he said firmly. He also argued that many universities now dependent on international students should instead redirect resources to support American youth, particularly from underserved rural and working-class communities neglected by the globalist system.

Bannon reminded listeners that the CCP shows no sign of yielding to international pressure. “The Chinese Communist Party will not bend the knee. They don’t understand the language of diplomacy — they only understand strength. We must respond with power and resolve,” he declared. In his view, tariffs alone aren’t enough: the U.S. must also strike at the soft core of China’s expansionist agenda — their deep presence in academia, tech, and American politics.

This call comes amid rising tensions between China and the U.S. As more reports confirm the systematic infiltration of Xi Jinping’s regime into key institutions, Bannon’s stance gains traction among those who believe the nation must reclaim its educational and technological sovereignty. National security is no longer limited to military or economic issues — it is now cultural and intellectual.

Meanwhile, progressive universities and academic elites downplay the danger or even justify the overwhelming presence of Chinese students in the name of “diversity” and “mutual enrichment.” But for Bannon and millions of American patriots, one thing is clear: complacency is no longer an option.
