More information is being revealed about the stabbing at a Texas track meet that left a 17-year-old athlete dead, and another teen in police custody.

17-year-old Karmelo Anthony admitted to stabbing fellow teen Austin Metcalf in the heart shortly after it happened, asking police if it could be considered self defense.

Witnesses have said that Anthony was sitting under the wrong tent when the Metcalf brothers approached him. The witness said the Metcalf brothers told Anthony to leave, and started getting physical with Anthony – at which point they say – Anthony pulled a knife out of his backpack and stabbed Austin Metcalf.

However, it is now being revealed that a different witness is saying that the Metcalf brothers were sitting under their school’s tent, when Anthony approached them. According to the witness Metcalf told Anthony to leave, at which point Anthony grabbed his bag, reached inside, and told Metcalf to "touch me and see what happens," according to the police document.

One witness said Metcalf touched Anthony and another says he grabbed Anthony.

But all say Anthony immediately pulled a knife out of the backpack and stabbed Metcalf in the chest, then took off.
Metcalf grabbed his chest and told his teammates to get help before he died in his brother's arms.
When Anthony was caught by police, an officer said: "I have the alleged suspect," which prompted Anthony to say, "I'm not alleged, I did it."
Once inside the police cruiser, Anthony asked if Metcalf was ok and asked if what he did would be considered self-defense.
