Where did Jesus come from?

Jesus did not originate from this world or emerge from human history. He is not one of us in the sense that he belongs to the human race as we do. We cannot claim that Jesus came from humanity—far from it! He is not a man who became God. Instead, He was born into this world, entering human history from the outside. The Word (God the Son) became flesh and dwelt among us. He came as the man Jesus of Nazareth, a Jew, descended from Abraham and King David...
