State Representative Amy Elik (R-Alton) is spot on in her response to the sponsor of HB 2827. The issue of protecting children from abuse and neglect is not an issue of homeschooling, but rather an issue of DCFS effectiveness.

Filing a form with the local ROE or principle is not going to protect children from abusive situations.
