Trump Targets Election Integrity Issues as Georgia’s Voter Fraud Concerns Persist

Ongoing election integrity battles, emphasizing the House’s passage of the SAVE Act, which requires proof of citizenship for voter registration, and its uncertain fate in the Senate. A similar bill stalled last year, and the “deep state” is reportedly frustrated by the push. Elon Musk recently highlighted illegal voting enabled by social security numbers issued to non-citizens, a claim even Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger acknowledged. Trump has ordered investigations into former officials Miles Taylor and Chris Krebs (noted as Mike Pence appointees, not Trump’s) and is targeting the law firm that defended Dominion Voting Systems in its Fox News case.
In Georgia, frustration grows over continued use of Dominion machines, criticized for vulnerabilities yet upheld by Raffensperger and Gabe Sterling after a judge dismissed a related case on standing. A recent election bill’s failure left absentee ballot drop-offs and Dominion systems intact, ignoring calls from Trump, Tulsi Gabbard, and activists for paper ballots. Gabbard publicly briefed Trump on these issues, while hundreds of Georgians at State Election Board meetings feel ignored by lawmakers, Governor Kemp, and the GA GOP. The 2020 election was stolen and demands for paper ballots to restore trust.
