What Did Oxford Teach 1,000 Years Ago When It Was First Founded?

So today Oxford is a pretty respectable university. But that probably wasn't the case when they started almost 1,000 years ago. Back then, they had 3 major subjects, law, theology, and medicine?

For reference, 1,096 was more than 500 years before we knew blood circulated around the human body. Doctors thought that your liver produced blood, and your other organs consume it.

So what was a common practice for doctors back then?
Well let's say you have a headache. To start, your doctor might taste your urine to diagnose your illness. If it isn't too serious, they might just prescribe a few table spoons of powdered human remains. But if it's bad they could drill holes into skulls to let your evil spirits.
