“She Caught 400 Killers” Mexican Gringo Hunter Commander Shot Dead By Escaped US Convict | CLRCUT

A US fugitive, Cesar Hernandez, shot and killed Mexican commander Abigail Esparza Reyes of the elite "Gringo Hunters" unit during an attempted arrest in Tijuana. Reyes, 33, had led over 400 operations targeting US fugitives hiding in Mexico. Hernandez, serving 80 years for murder, escaped US custody in Dec 2024. The violent shootout lasted over 5 minutes, sparking a massive manhunt. Authorities say Hernandez fled disguised as a cleaner. The "Gringo Hunters" have captured over 1,600 US fugitives since 2002. The search for Hernandez continues.
