Got old or leggy climbing roses? Don’t dig them out — cover them up!

Train sweet peas and clematis through the rose for colour, fragrance, and a softer look.

And here’s a tip — always bend rose canes as horizontally as possible. It tells the plant to send out more shoots and more flowers — not just from the top but all along the branch as the growth hormone travels whole length of stem. This trick can give you 9 times more flowers.
