"You do not need free speech laws to speak the truth on any subject.

You know what you need? You need courage.

It is courageous societies which create a culture of free political speech. It is cowardly societies where people tyrannise themselves to stay silent, because they're afraid of what they will lose.

My question to you today is, 'Do you have courage?' If you do, speak."

Pastor Matt Littlefield shared a powerful message at The Tyranny of Silence seminar in Hervey Bay. Drawing on Biblical wisdom and his own experience as a pastor who spoke out during peak Covid tyranny, Pastor Littlefield inspired attendees of the seminar to have courage and speak truth even when it's dangerous to do so.

On 26 August 2021, Pastor Matt Littlefield and two other Baptist pastors published the Ezekiel Declaration—an open letter to then Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, opposing Covid vaccine passports on the grounds of conscience.
