New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced that the victims included the pilot and a family of five visiting from Spain.

"Three adults and three children were aboard a Bell 206 helicopter that took off from Skyport downtown around 3 p.m.," said Eric Adams.

An eyewitness said he saw the helicopter split in two.

"It sounded like a sonic boom to my right. I look up, and I literally just see a helicopter split in two, with the rotor flying up into the sky... It happened so fast, it went straight into the water. I've never seen anything like that in my life," the eyewitness said.

CNN reported:

Six people—including three children—are dead after a passenger helicopter crashed into the Hudson River, New York City Mayor Eric Adams said.

Among the passengers were a pilot and a family visiting from Spain, he said.

At 3:17 p.m., multiple 911 calls reported a helicopter crash in the Hudson River near the New Jersey shore at Pier A Park in Hoboken, New York Police Department Commissioner Jessica Tisch said. When first responders arrived, police pulled four people from the water and the FDNY pulled two people, she said.

Four victims were was pronounced dead at the scene, while two other people were transported to local hospitals where they were pronounced dead, Tisch said.

"Our hearts go out to the families of those on board," Adams said.

The helicopter, operated by the travel company New York Helicopter Charter, is currently submerged in the river.

During a high-level Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, United States Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard dropped a bombshell: There is now evidence that electronic voting machines were rigged to tamper with election results in the United States.

Gabbard provided a detailed update on her comprehensive investigation into the politicization of intelligence agencies and election interference.

Her testimony confirmed what many conservatives have long suspected – that the foundations of the American electoral system have been compromised.

"I have a long list of things we're investigating. We have the best grounding to do so, and election integrity is one of them," Gabbard said.

"We have evidence that these electronic voting systems have been vulnerable to hackers and exploitation for a very long time to manipulate the results of the votes cast, further advancing your mandate to implement paper ballots across the country so voters can have confidence in the integrity of our elections."

This should come as no surprise to readers of The Gateway Pundit who have been following our report.

Even the world's leading hackers agree with this assessment.

Last year, some of the world's best hackers gathered in Las Vegas for the annual DEF CON conference, specifically at the Voting Village event, to research and uncover vulnerabilities in voting machines to be used in the upcoming November elections.

From Friday through Sunday, hackers at the Voting Village tested various voting machines and related devices, attempting to circumvent the security measures.

Harri Hursti, co-founder of Voting Village, noted that the list of vulnerabilities found was extensive but consistent with previous years.

"There are so many fundamental things that should be happening that aren't happening, so yes, I'm concerned that things aren't being fixed, but they haven't been fixed in a long time, and I'm also angry about that," Hursti told Politico.

Scott Algeier, executive director of the Information Technology-Information Sharing and Analysis Center (IT-ISAC), emphasized that fixing vulnerabilities isn't a quick process: "Even if you find a vulnerability next week in a modern device that's being deployed in the field, it's challenging to get the patch and get the fix to state and local election officials and onto the devices before the November election."

"It's not a 90-day fix; it's not Microsoft releasing your patch every Tuesday and everything working fine. It's a pretty complicated process," he added.

This isn't the first time that DEF CON hackers have been able to break into vulnerable voting machines in use today in the US.

In July 2017, DEF CON hackers made short work of the voting machines. Hackers were given a rare opportunity to break into US voting machines. It took one person just 90 minutes to hack in and remotely vote on one of the machines.

In 2019, NBC News technology correspondent Jacob Ward gave a detailed look at the DEF CON conference in Las Vegas at the ease with which hackers can exploit vulnerabilities in voting systems.

This isn't the first time we've heard of vulnerabilities in voting machines.

In 2023, J. Halderman, a professor of computer science and engineering at the University of Michigan, revealed in a Georgia courtroom that Dominion's voting systems were vulnerable to hacks.

His report confirmed that votes in Dominion voting machines could be altered. In fact, the report shows that Dominion's software is vulnerable and can be hacked.

Professor Halderman wrote in his report:

We have discovered vulnerabilities in nearly every part of the system exposed to potential attackers. The most critical issue we found is an arbitrary code execution vulnerability that can be exploited to spread malware from a county's central Election Management System (EMS) to every BMD in the jurisdiction. This allows the BMDs to be attacked on a large scale and across a wide area without requiring physical access to any of them.
