Naked suspect arrested for attempted robbery at downtown hotel

Oklahoma City, OK - A man was arrested early Tuesday morning after allegedly breaking into a hotel and demanding money while naked, according to a police report from the Oklahoma City Police Department.

Officers responded to a hotel on E Reno Avenue disturbance call around 2:40 am. Upon arrival, police found Michael Turner standing naked near the front desk.

Police said Turner refused to comply with commands to kneel and be handcuffed, responding, "No, you're not."

After officers activated the sound on a taser, Turner eventually complied and was taken into custody.

Turner allegedly broke down the front door to gain entry, stripped off his clothing, and demanded money from the cash drawer and the employee's cell phone.

The employee told officers she felt threatened by Turner's actions.

Turner was taken to the Oklahoma County Jail and charged with first-degree robbery.
