We flee from death to death

We flee from death to death.
And in every escape, a fear greater than the one before it.
In Gaza, life is not life, but a painful waiting for an end we don’t know when it will fall.
Those who survive today, may not survive tomorrow..
As if survival itself has become another form of death.

نهرب من الموت إلى الموت..
وفي كل نجاة، خوف أشد من التي قبلها.
في غزة، الحياة ليست حياة، بل انتظار موجع لنهاية لا نعرف متى تسقط.
من ينجو اليوم، لا ينجو غداً..
وكأن النجاة نفسها صارت شكلًا آخر من أشكال الموت .
