Larceny (1948)

Smooth-talking con man Rick Maxon targets a wealthy war widow by posing as a sincere veteran promoting a fake memorial fund. But as he draws her into the scheme, he unexpectedly falls for her, setting up a dangerous conflict between his growing conscience and the criminal world he serves.
