Francine is the great-granddaughter of Sergio Osmeña Sr., the 4th President of the Philippines, who played a crucial role in the nations’s fight for independence.

As president of the Philippine Commonwealth, from 1944 to 1946, President Osmeña led efforts to restore governance and rebuild the country following Japan’s occupation during World War II. It is his legacy of patriotism and leadership that continues to inspire Francine’s values of civic duty.

Additionally, Francine’s experiences as a political refugee in the United States shaped her resilience and expanded her understanding of geopolitical complexities.
