Michelle Dowd is an Author and former journalism professor (and at one time, my creative writing professor). Her first book, Forager: Field Notes for Surviving a Family Cult, has definitely taken the literary world by storm. Leading to appearances on Megyn Kelly and Joe Rogan's respective podcasts (among others), her story about living her formative years in an apocalyptic, Christian cult formed by her Grandfather has made an indelible impact on all who have heard it. I was so incredibly grateful that she agreed to appear on my fledgling endeavor!
