A GLARING LACK OF GOVERNMENT TRANSPARENCY

Our country keeps far too many secrets, mostly at financial advantage to politicians

#1. We live in a land of badly damaged credibility and trust.

#2. Our electoral and government structures are all but dashed to bits on the rocks of chaos and greed.

#3. What has allowed us to fall so far, so fast? It’s a lack of transparency.

#4. In our electoral system, the lack of transparency jumps out and bites you in the ass.

#5. Casting your vote becomes a secret act, not for your benefit, but for that of criminals running this country.

#6. Many states allow virtually anyone to vote in all elections.

#7. In New York, Philadelphia, Maryland, and those states on the ‘Left Coast’ proof of identity is not required to vote. Anyone can walk up, say they are American, their word is accepted, they are handed a ballot, and they vote.

#8. That’s just plain wrong! You need ID to drive a car, fly on an airliner, travel on a passenger ship, and dozens of other venues.

#9. Important as it may seem to be, they don’t care who in Hell you are, why not ask the government for proof of I.D.?

#10. Our legislators in senate and congress conduct more than half their business behind closed doors.

#11. It’s not for ‘security reasons’, but is actually their way of pulling the wool over your eyes so they can get away with bloody murder. And they do.

#12. Japan and Singapore, both 1st world nations, don’t have transparency issues because of the amazing honesty and transparency of their electoral systems.

#13. They require:
1. Valid Identification
2. Same day elections
3. A paper ballot for absolute verification

#14. The only exceptions are absentee ballots through their consulate offices and embassies.

#15. How is it that Japan, a nation of over 145 million people, can count all their ballots and certify them by the next morning, while many states in our country can’t count a fraction of that number of ballots in less than a month!

#16. Elon Musk’s DOGE [Department of Government Efficiency] has been opening up the dark closets of government and exposing the graft, corruption, inefficiency, and downright theft that goes on behind closed doors.

#17. If DOGE and President Trump are allowed to continue their campaign toward transparency, the United States may one day lead the world and once again be that shining city on a hill.
