Dublin's first home grown TV station, Channel D was run by former ARD owners Dave C and Dr Don Moore. These are some of advertisments and promo. Dublin was heavily cabled so it had an audience. Border station, Boyneside Radio North, right on the border with Newry, with northern Ireland DJs, Bob Lea and Big O, they hada vast local audience, on AM and FM signal covered 30 miles into the north.
Radio Nova died in May 1986, and Q012 was the new local Dublin city sttaion, that grew up, as Nova had started going for the UK market. Legal issues caused it to finally closed down.
