$250M TAX DOLLARS STOLEN! Did Ilhan Omar KNOWINGLY Promote Fraud?

Aimee Bock, founder and executive director of the Minnesota nonprofit Feeding Our Future, was convicted on all seven counts of wire fraud and bribery by a federal jury in Minneapolis. Co-defendant Salim Said, a former restaurateur, was also found guilty on all 21 charges, including money laundering. The convictions stem from a scheme that exploited government child nutrition programs during the COVID-19 pandemic, defrauding taxpayers of approximately $250 million. Prosecutors revealed that Bock and Said submitted fraudulent claims for meals never served to children, using falsified documentation to misappropriate funds intended for child nutrition. U.S. District Judge Nancy Brasel ordered both defendants to be jailed pending sentencing, citing the significant sentences they face and the deceptive nature of their crimes. This case is part of a broader investigation in which 70 individuals have been charged, with more than half already pleading guilty. During the trial, a video was shown featuring Rep. Ilhan Omar promoting Safari Restaurant, which is owned by co-defendant Salim Said. The promotion took place during the time of the Feeding Our Future scam. Said's restaurant received $16 million of the $250 million that was stolen.
